#WAPSONG - Let It Go and Embrace the Female Dynamic
Ok....I guess it's time to intervene (snaps knuckles and fingers to type).....#WAPSONG..... a conversation of two women who describes their organs and their preference of what they like to do in the bedroom with their significant others.
They didn't discuss cheating or being in any 'entanglements' outside of their significant others at all...they simply described in detail the expression of the phrase 'saint in the streets, freak in the sheets' with the latter of the phrase being the most expressive and now the whole world is in a state of flux.
They shared their detailed sexual encounters and simply explained what they prefer to do and have done to them and if you are dating one of them, you will probably be lucky enough to never forget them and/or possibly marry them in the future....As a matter of fact one rapper did and when he cheated, was grinding like hell to get her back.
Sure, it can be scary for some, I mean after all, not everyone would be able to achieve the goal of what they are describing, but we need to understand a few things:
1a. Most men have the same conversations these women are discussing on a beat about 'former women they have had relations with' and to think women don't have these same conversations in private must be lost on their own perspective islands and haven't realized that women have a series of emotions and behaviors just like us and their detailed descriptions are a little bit raunchier or better yet, border on the side of the sexual apocalypse that would make most men cower in their shoes.
1b. If you are still lost on the range of emotions and behaviors of women, I recommend that you watch or read 'Waiting to Exhale' again. I'll even throw this in as well free of charge; rewatch all of Girlfriends, Sex in the City, even rewatch The Best Man for the Nia Long, Monica Calhoun and Sanaa Lathan dynamics of how some woman behave when emotions and urges are intertwined with past and present relationships. Also, maybe read a Zane book or two to understand the 'wildness' of the female dynamic a little bit more; I recommend The Sisters of APF to start. For those who need a more detailed and better academic reference, I recommend any book by Dr. Ruth or better yet, watch Black Love on OWN, it was a great series.
2a. Most songs about women made by men are far worse, Let us not forget the very famous Akinyele song of the 90s, Put It In Your Mouth to start. While many have disagreed with the song, many have bobbed their head to its lyrics and recalled an event in which they had a moment that the song expressed.
2b. I'll even throw in Wait by the Ying-Yang Twins, Suck It or Not by Lil Wayne ft. Cameron; great songs of their time by the way. And let's not forget the legendary song Just Playing (Dreams) by the Notorious BIG. I'm pretty sure some of us have not stopped listening to BIGGIE especially when, to this day, the ongoing comparison of TUPAC and BIGGIE being the best lyricist of all time is still the argument of 2020 and will be for some time....
3a. Now let us focus on the song's hook 'There's Some Whores In This house' - the famous Baltimore club song that many DJs played in the skreets and many of us tried to do our 'footwork' either in grade school and/or college to it.
3b. I believe the song was created by a man named Frank Ski. Maybe.
Now, I'll also say this, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion have never hid from who they are and while they have these huge platforms to express their views and sexuality, we should not attack their artistic expression, especially when other works of sexual art are in verbal earshot, ocular view on the internet, present in museums (I believe there's a sex museum in NYC), and dare I say it, within an earshot of parents conversations or when parents have their friends over or the famous hat or tie on the parent's door.....
It's time to let go and work out the Madonna-Whore complex critics have towards females who are comfortable in their spaces and embrace and respect the female dynamic in its many colors, sizes, shapes and expressions...
It's not going away, its simply evolving and multiplying and when songs like that come on the radio, simply just change the station and.....
